On May 7, 2021, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Vermont (BCBSVT) proposed an average annual decrease of 7.8% over 2021 rates for small group plans offered on Vermont Health Connect, with proposed changes ranging from -7.0% to -19.8%. These numbers and/or percentages are subject to change throughout the rate and approval process. On August 5, 2021, the Board reduced BCBSVT's rate request to -6.7%.
