BCBSVT proposes an average annual increase of 7.5% over 2018 premiums offered on Vermont Health Connect. Proposed increases per plan range from 1.25 to 18.87%. Note, many Vermonters will qualify for more premium tax credits to help with the highest increases. On July 18, 2018, BCBSVT Amended this filing to propose an average annual increase of 9.6% over 2018 premiums offered on Vermont Health Connect. On August 14, 2018, the Green Mountain Care Board ordered BCBSVT to reduce rates from 9.6% to 5.8%.
