On June 2nd, BCBSVT and MVP filed proposed average annual premium rate increases for Vermont Health Connect (VHC) health plans. BCBSVT proposes an average annual increase of 9.8% over 2014 rates, while MVP proposes a 15.4% increase. The GMCB is now reviewing the filings, and invites the public to comment on the proposed rates through August 18th. The GMCB will issue a final decision approving, modifying, or disapproving the proposed rates no later than September 2, 2014.
